Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the KYA Labs platform ("Service"), including the AIP-1 protocol verification API, dashboard, and related tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KYA Labs provides an Agent Intent Protocol (AIP-1) verification service that enables organizations to verify, monitor, and control AI agent actions through cryptographic identity, boundary enforcement, and trust scoring. The Service includes:

• Agent passport creation and management
• Intent verification API (programmatic access via API keys)
• Dashboard for monitoring, analytics, and kill-switch controls
• Open-source SDK for local cryptographic operations

3. Accounts & API Keys

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API keys. You agree not to share API keys or allow unauthorized access. API keys should be treated as secrets — we display them only once at creation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the API
• Use the Service to build a competing verification protocol without attribution
• Exceed your plan's usage limits without upgrading

5. Rate Limits & Usage

API access is subject to rate limits (60 req/min per IP, 300 req/min per API key). We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access for excessive or abusive usage patterns. Plan-specific usage limits apply.

6. Data & Security

We store agent metadata, verification logs, and trust scores. Private keys for agent passports are stored encrypted. We do not store the content of your agents' actions — only the verification metadata (action name, outcome, timestamp).

7. Service Availability

KYA Labs is currently in beta. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Intellectual Property

The AIP-1 protocol specification is open. The KYA Labs hosted service, dashboard, and proprietary features are owned by KYA Labs. The SDK is open-source under the MIT license.

9. Limitation of Liability

KYA Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to damages from AI agent actions that were incorrectly verified or that bypassed the verification layer.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
